G-CAPP Named Beneficiary of WXIA 11 Alive Community Service Awards Dinner

On April 11, 2005 G-CAPP was honored as the beneficiary of the 30th Annual WXIA 11 Alive Community Service Awards dinner. Hosted by 11 Alive news anchors Brenda Wood and Wes Sarginson, the televised event honors 11 local volunteers who have worked selflessly for the betterment of the community.

G-CAPP Founder and Chair Jane Fonda and AGL Resources CEO Paula Rosput Reynolds co-chaired the event. Bob Walker, General Manager of 11 Alive, presented proceeds totaling $115,000 from the awards dinner to G-CAPP Executive Director Michele Ozumba.
