Today is the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy
May 7th is the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy -an important opportunity to raise awareness about teen pregnancy prevention among teens, parents and community members across our state.

Throughout the month of May, teens can go to The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy's new teen website–StayTeen.org–and take a short, scenario-based Quiz (available in both English and Spanish) that challenges young people to focus their attention on the importance of avoiding too-early pregnancy. Hundreds of thousands of teens nationwide are expected to participate in the Quiz.

G-CAPP and partners across the state are planning activities throughout the month of May to encourage teens to take the Quiz and to raise community awareness about teen pregnancy prevention.

TAKE THE QUIZ
You can help promote the National Day by encouraging teens to take the Quiz and by using the Quiz as a conversation starter with them. See the Parent Discussion Guide available here for tips.
