Policy & Advocacy
In
pursuit of our mission to eliminate adolescent pregnancy
in Georgia, G-CAPP promotes statewide public policy initiatives
that support healthy children, youth and families. We work
to broaden the traditional adolescent pregnancy prevention
agenda by addressing the fundamental issues that underlie
adolescent pregnancy and by building local and statewide
capacity to promote the healthy development of our most
vulnerable adolescents.
For ten years, G-CAPP
has been a catalyst for change, working in tandem
with other statewide organizations to influence and
inform policy decisions and legislation affecting
vulnerable youth and disenfranchised families in Georgia.
