The Georgia Public-Private Partnership For Teen Pregnancy Prevention (P3)

The purpose of P3 is for public and private stakeholders to work together to develop and implement a coordinated plan to sustain evidence-based programs and practices to reduce teen pregnancy, leading to improved educational outcomes and long-term well-being of families and communities in Georgia.

We envision a future in which there is a significant decrease in teen pregnancy in Georgia achieved through a strong collaborative partnership between Georgia’s public agencies, non-profit and for-profit organizations, and philanthropies.

This partnership will be guided by a coordinated model of investment, in which committed leaders in teen pregnancy prevention fluidly share resources, develop policies, plan, and produce outcomes with greater impact and efficiencies than would be achieved independently.

In this future, we see high performing, financially viable and sustainable organizations implementing quality, evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs and practices.

We envision our efforts contributing to a future in which young people in our state gain the knowledge and skills they need to delay early parenthood, complete their education, and enter adulthood healthy and ready for college, career, and life.
