Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology\, Dr. Flowers specializes in the treatment of women with abnormal pap tests\, HPV-related disease\, and pre-cancerous gynecologic conditions.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n1:00 – 2:00 in partnership with Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAlison Macklin\, MSW\, is the State Policy and Advocacy Director at SIECUS: Sex Ed for Social Change. She provides strategic guidance to communities looking to advance comprehensive sex education and for over 17 years has been a national leader in the comprehensive sex education field.\nIn 2019\, she helped author and pass Colorado’s Youth Wellness Act\, ensuring young people in that state are able to access inclusive comprehensive sex education. Alison is the author of “Making Sense of It: A Guide to Sex for Teens (and Their Parents Too!)\,” a skilled sex education trainer\, and adjunct professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work.\n\n\n\n\n\nComprehensive sex ed and quality teen pregnancy prevention programs are more important than ever for young people\, post Roe v. Each participant gets a $200 stipend at the end of the day for completing the Super Saturday workshops.\nTeens will receive breakfast\, lunch\, refreshments\, and breaks throughout\nthe day. Open to teens (13-19) who live in Bibb County. Parents are\nwelcome to sit in. Giveaways/Raffles include: door prizes\, Six Flags\nvouchers\, Air Pods\, and gift certificates. Teens under 18 will need parental\npermission to attend.\nThe Administration Building on the Lundy Chapel campus  |   9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.\n2081 Forest Hill Road\, Macon\, GA 31210\n\nBibb County has one of the highest STD rates in the state for teens and most are unaware of the potential consequences.
