Sex Ed For All Month

May is Sex Ed For All Month and GCAPP is excited to lead Georgia's participation! Join us as we celebrate the theme "Sexual Health Matters" to help ensure teens and young adults receive the high quality, medically accurate, comprehensive sexual education they deserve for healthy decision making.

Sexual Health Matters | A Virtual Sex Ed Summit

On Wednesday, May 27, join us for Sexual Health Matters: A Virtual Sex Ed Summit designed by young leaders from our Youth Advisory Council and youth-serving professionals from around the nation to help raise awareness and increase dialogues about sexual health. Interactive sessions will cover the biggest challenges threatening the overall health and well-being of our young people and how emotional wellness, dating violence, and adult-teen communication are all significant factors in addressing adolescents’ sexual health matters.

Upcoming Sessions:

  • A Campfire Chat with GCAPP’s Youth Advisory Council Members on Sexual Influences in Today's Culture
  • The Solution Room: How to Get Young People the Information They Need Inside & Outside the Classroom
  • Sharing Best Mindfulness Exercises for Teens

Free registration is happening now!  More information coming soon.

Are you ready to share your expertise? We are now accepting 30-minute session proposals for single or group presenters, as well as venders to host a virtual expo table. Deadline for proposals is May 20, 2020. Submit here.
