Lam Pham is a 17-year-old high school junior from Gwinnett County, attending the Gwinnett School of Math, Science, and Technology. With aspirations of attending Brown University and becoming a dermatologist specializing in eczema, Lam’s passion for skincare and science is deeply personal and purpose-driven. Inspired by their own experience with lifelong eczema and acne, Lam advocates for skin positivity and education around dermatologic health — especially for teens. As a student leader, Lam serves as an officer in their school’s Medfinity club. Lam’s favorite part of GCAPP’s Youth Advisory Council is the fun and open energy. They love that YAC provides a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered. Her work with GCAPP aligns perfectly with their personal mission: to normalize skin conditions, challenge unrealistic beauty standards, and promote mental wellness among teens. Outside of school and advocacy, Lam is a research enthusiast, a student of culture, and a team leader in their Vietnamese Buddhist temple’s religious dance group — where they choreograph routines, support their peers, and stay grounded in their heritage. Lam is excited to use their voice as part of the Youth Advisory Council to tackle issues like body image, social disconnection, and mental health. She believes that when teens support each other and lead together, real change happens.

Aiko’s favorite part of being in GCAPP’s Youth Advisory Council is connecting with other members and learning from their experiences. She brings a calm and grounded energy to the group, shaped by her leadership roles and her ability to help others find peace and patience. A standout student-athlete, Aiko plays golf competitively and has attended the LPGA Leadership Academy and hopes to qualify for the state golf championship. She has been on the high school golf team since the 8th grade. As a member of First Tee of Metro Atlanta, she is a Junior Coach and mentor. She is also a member of the Technology Student Association where she will serve as Vice President. When she’s not working hard, Aiko enjoys taking time to relax and recharge. She is especially passionate about addressing bullying, promoting self-care (including skincare), and helping young people develop patience. She’s excited to use her voice to make an impact with GCAPP’s YAC and support youth in becoming the best versions of themselves.
