Join us for an amazing conversation led by the legendary Jane Fonda, GCAPP founder, as she delves deep into a wide-ranging discussion with GCAPP President & CEO Ronald McNeill. The conversation explores why schools, parents, youth, and communities turn to GCAPP for quality sex ed, teen pregnancy prevention initiatives for both girls and boys, and the many resources GCAPP provides to youth, youth-serving professionals, parents, and communities across Georgia. Jane Fonda also shares personal stories about her own adolescence, which ultimately drove her to establish GCAPP almost 30 years ago.
The Fonda-McNeill conversation is followed by a panel discussion about sex ed and why adolescent sexual health is critically important to young people’s overall wellbeing. You’ll hear from several perspectives—Dr. Aisha Redmond, an Ob-Gyn, 11th grader Mikiyah Spotwood, and Dan Smith, a physical education curriculum coordinator. Tune in!
We would like suggestions for our next State of Adolescents discussion. What topics and emerging issues would you like to see explored more? Just send us an email with ‘TOPICS’ in the subject line with your suggestions to general@gcapp.org.
