How Trauma-Informed Education can Address Health Inequities for Transgender and Non-Binary Students

Transgender and non-binary students are affected by a myriad of health inequities stemming from bullying and harassment, especially in schools that do not create inclusive and affirming learning environments.   Objectives:
  • Participants will explore trauma-inclusive environments.
  • By the end of the program, participants will be able to discuss the application of practical skills for creating safe learning spaces.
